Who is Zakhi Lhamo?

Zakhi Lhamo (Tibetan: བྱ་ཁྱིར་ལྷ་མོ་, Jakhi Lhamo) is a revered local protector goddess in Tibetan Buddhism and folk tradition. She is considered the guardian deity of Lhasa, especially associated with the Jokhang Temple and Barkhor area.
